SLIPPER CLUTCH: When downshifting from higher engine speeds, the slipper clutch reduces engine braking force. The clutch is allowed to partially slip until the engine speed matches the motorcycle’s speed. Engine braking is a pleasure, especially during aggressive downshifting.
